REPORTING GUIDE

Before you report: evidence preparation guide

A clear chronology and preserved originals make factual review more accurate and efficient.

01

Build a chronology first

  • List transactions, promises, communications, and refund requests by date.
  • Identify each amount, currency, recipient, exchange, or wallet address.
  • Separate facts you experienced directly from information received from others.
02

Useful supporting material

  • Bank, card, and exchange records and blockchain transaction URLs
  • Contracts, receipts, email, chat records, and contemporary notices
  • Screenshots of websites, social accounts, or videos together with original URLs
  • For recordings, retain the original file and note the date and participants
03

Prepare files safely

  • Keep originals unchanged and redact personal data only in a separate copy.
  • Where possible, include the date, account name, and address bar in screenshots.
  • For many files, use descriptive filenames and a structured ZIP archive.
  • Never submit passwords, wallet private keys, seed phrases, or full payment-card numbers.
